"The Mariner Network" has a new website that offers updated marine fuel prices around Lake Michigan from Manitowoc, WI to Ludington, MI.  Just click on the photo above to go to their website.

Special Event No-Wake Zone

The Milwaukee Harbormaster has declared that a Slow No-Wake zone shall be in effect and enforced in the Outer Harbor for 2 hours before and 2 hours after special events fireworks. This will help eliminate dangerous situation caused by boaters racing back to the launching ramps after fireworks events. Click here for the Notice to Mariners flyer.

Pavilion Hours

The marina staff would like to remind everyone that the Pavilion is open to the public from 7:00am  until 7:00pm. Marina tenants may use the Pavilion until 10:00pm. There have been recent conflicts involving tenants that wanted to remain after 10:00pm.
No one is allowed after 10:00pm.

Fishing within McKinley Marina

There have been many complaints regarding fishing within the McKinley Marina basin. The fishermen are allowed to fish within the marina basin and fairways providing they are "position fishing". This is defined as casting from a stationary boat, but not anchored. They are not allowed to troll or tie to any dock or wall. If you observe any violations of these rules contact the DNR warden or Milwaukee County Sheriff. The marina staff cannot enforce these rules.

The DNR warden is David Oginski, he can be reached at
 (414) 263-8549 or email at david.oginskijr@wisconsin.gov

The Wisconsin DNR Tip Hotline number is
1-800-TIP-WDNR (1-800-847-9367)
or from your cell phone dial #367.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff non-
emergency phone number is (414) 278-4788.

Strength in Numbers

From USA Today Leaving Land:   Did you Know that there are 53.6 million adult boaters.  Boaters spend $16 billion on food and fuel during boating.  So we as boaters do have voice that can be heard.  This does not include the upkeep or storage, or marina fees.
